TireGPT ("we") is a tire shop in Markham, Ontario. This policy explains what we collect through tiregpt.ca and our in-shop systems, and how we use it.

What we collect

  • When you book: your name, phone, email, your vehicle's year, make and model, and the tires, wheels and services you chose.
  • When you use the online assistant: what you type, and any contact details you choose to leave.
  • When you buy in the shop: the name and contact details needed for your invoice, kept in our accounting software (QuickBooks Online).
  • Basic website logs (pages, times, browser type) for troubleshooting and statistics.

How we use it

  • To schedule and confirm your appointment, prepare your tires and wheels, and reach you about the details.
  • After the job: a service confirmation, manufacturer rebate instructions where they apply, and an invitation to review us.
  • Seasonal reminders to past customers (a few times a year at most); every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Bookkeeping, invoicing and inventory. We never sell or rent your information.

Who can see it

TireGPT staff only. To run the website, data is stored with the providers we use (Vercel for hosting, Supabase for the database, Resend for email, Twilio for text messages, Intuit QuickBooks for accounting, Stripe for payments), who process it only on our instructions.

The QuickBooks connection

We connect our own QuickBooks Online company to our website's admin area to read our own customer and invoice records, for merging our customer list and for bookkeeping. Only the owner can authorize or disconnect it.

Retention and your choices

Booking and invoice records are kept for 7 years as Canadian tax rules require. You can ask us to correct or delete your contact details, or to stop emailing you, at any time: info@tiregpt.ca or (905) 415-1666.

Security

The site uses HTTPS throughout, database and API credentials stay on the server, and card payments are handled by Stripe; we never store card numbers.
